The Proof is in the Platform

First came the Jessica Simpson Kadance Platform Sandal, then came the proof.

It is the humble cousin of Nicholas Kirkwood For Rodarte's gold platform sandal. It also confirms the expensive taste that my mother's been telling me I had since I was a little girl.

I lose my mind every season on new shoes and what colors, textures, styles to choose from. What it all boils down to is versatility and cost because a woman needs a new wardrobe too! I'm playing it safe with Jessica Simpson's Clonise Platform Sandal. It's platform base, not-too-skinny heel and neutral color will go with virtually everything in my closet for many more seasons to come.

I really wanted these Frye - June T Strap Wedge Sandals, but they're too expensive for my blood right now at $202. :(
